Happy August, Ana Grace Families!
Thank you to everyone who joined us on Friday for our Back to School Welcome Event! It was so wonderful to see everyone. I hope that you found it as meaningful as we did for you to connect with your classroom teacher as well as to see old and new friends! My favorite part was all the hugs and seeing everyone so excited to begin a new year!
Important First Day Reminders

Arrival: Doors open at 8:40. Staff will be outside to welcome and guide students. As a reminder, we utilize a valet service for arrival and dismissal. Families will not be able to walk students to classrooms and we ask that you stay in your cars when dropping students off. This will help to keep the arrival line moving and ensure safety of everyone. Please refer to the arrival and dismissal information further down in the newsletter.

Dismissal: Begins at 12:00. Staff will be on the sidewalks to guide students to cars as they pull up to the front of the school. Those that were able to join us for open house were given window tags for your cars to help us with dismissal. If you were unable to join us, we will have extra during morning arrival. Thank you in advance for your patience as we ensure everyone’s safe dismissal, especially in these first few days- we promise it gets faster over the next few weeks!

Before and Aftercare: Before care begins on the first day of school for families that are signed up. Drop off begins at 7:30- please pull up to the front door and staff will be there to greet your children and bring them into the building. Aftercare begins on Thursday August 27th and is open until 5:30 pm. Families will follow the same pick up procedures as the regular school day pulling up to the front and staff will escort your child to the car.

Meals: Breakfast and lunch are available for students every day of school free of charge. Breakfast and lunch will be served on the first day. Menus are being finalized and will be available by clicking here in the next few days.

What to Bring: A backpack, a change of clothes (prek-grade 1) and a big smile for the year ahead! Please be sure that you label all of your child's belongings with their first and last name. Students in prek through grade 2 will receive backpack tags with transportation information the first day of school.
We know the start of a new school year brings excitement (and sometimes a few butterflies). Please know that our team is here to support you and your child every step of the way. Our goal is for each student and family to feel safe, welcomed, and ready to learn from the moment they walk through our doors.
